Our Wedding

Two different souls, two different lives—nearly a thousand kilometers apart. During one of the toughest times in our lives, fate brought us together in the most unexpected way, in October 2021. From that moment, we became each other’s light and joy. After years of love and patience, we got engaged in beautiful Venice in June 2025. And now, our journey continues as we say I do in the summer of 2026.

Before booking your tickets, please feel free to contact us to go over your plans. After the wedding, we’re hoping to spend about a week guiding you around the city and visiting one or two other destinations in Vietnam. We’d love to help plan the trip so it fits your timeline as smoothly as possible.

✈️Getting to Nha Trang (CXR), Vietnam from Canada✈️

No direct flights — but getting to Nha Trang is easy with one or two smooth connections through major Asian hubs.

Two main international airports in Vietnam: Ha Noi (North) or Saigon (South, closer to Nha Trang). From there you can take a domestic flight to Nha Trang (1-2 hours) and the ticket costs about $100 CAD.

If you want to fly directly to Nha Trang, it's also possible. However, the flight options are more limited, and the cost is usually higher. Personally, I would recommend you land in Ha Noi or Saigon, get over the jetlag (12 hours difference) and explore the city, then flight to Nha Trang after.

🇻🇳How to get a visa🇻🇳

You will need to go to this site <a href="https://immigration.gov.vn/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://immigration.gov.vn/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt</a> to apply for an E-Visa to enter Vietnam. It takes roughly 1-2 weeks to be processed. Obviously, the sooner the better. The cost is ~ $50 CAD.

Vietnam’s time difference can take a little getting used to, so don’t underestimate the jet lag. If you believe sleeping pills may help you adjust, please consult your doctor beforehand to ensure they are safe and appropriate for you.

🚕Transport in Vietnam🚕

To get around the cities in Vietnam, just download and set up the Grab app in your phone before coming to Vietnam. It's equivalent to Uber/Lyft, easy to use with reasonable price. Or if you want to be more adventurous, you can rent a scooter and drive around to fully experience the city. I can give additional details when you get there.

Download the app Airalo to buy data to use in Vietnam, contact me and I will send you a referral code for a discount. You will need it mostly to book Grab, to use Google map, or when you're outside. Otherwise, you would be surprised that free wifi is available everywhere in the restaurants, coffee shops, stores, malls, sometimes even on a street food place. Don't be shy and just ask for a wifi password, it might be even written on your table.
